When startin WSJT-X v2.0, an error is shown saying: “Error Loading LotW Users Data”. Dit is due to Windows systems not hndling Intermediate CA’s correctly when retrieving the LotW user data file thats been served from a secured website.
The solution is simple.Jan 20 2019

Very many thanks for your help in fixing this bug. I wish they all went away as easy. “True Ham Spirit”, publishing this fix. Best 73 Glyn GW0ANA
How do we get this file when it is updated?
“FETCH” in WSJT-X is not functioning and shows an SSL error.

Try this: https://www.ph4x.com/wsjt-x-error-loading-lotw-users-data/
Glyn, the error you cite is not due to Windows SSL certificate handling. WSJT-X does not use the Windows proprietary SLL handing, instead it uses the OpenSSL library and the error is usually due to the user having not installed the OpenSSL libraries as directed by the WSJT-X User Guide. Since WSJT-X v2.0.1 the application no longer tries to fetch a LoTW Users file from the ARRL on startup so this error will not happen unless the user elects WSJT-X to fetch the file.

Hi Randy Ia have the same problem with wsjt-x 2.2.2, csv file is in the directory with log file but fetch doesn’t functions. Is there another solution? Thanks 73
I call the people that don’t use LOTW last. If you are a new member of LOTW you won’t show up on the list unless someone realizes they have an old copy and most people won’t. The only reason I saw the problem was not seeing my brother as a LOTW user. I get an error uploading manually “SSL/TSL support not found”. This is a great program thanks for all you do.

I have tried all the above, install OpenSSL, put the csv file in the log directory.. nothing changes using Windows 10 and the latest version… IF I put the link in any browser, it down loads the csv immediately. but if I copy it over into the Log directory of WSJT-x, and then open, it will open the file.. lol.. but WSJT-x doesn’t care …
